Changing the System from Within, While not falling into the Trap of Attempting to Fight the System

This is an email response to a friend who apparently has had enough of pushing the standardized indoctrination BS so often included in the textbooks published by the global monopoly.

Hey _______,
I'm glad to see that you're clued in on what's been going on in the world and the education system. In many parts of the world, we really are beginning to see the dystopian nightmare that Orwell and others have written about. It’s as though existence has decided to push the lies to such extremes that eventually, humans humans will have no choice but to let go of their cognitive dissonance and acknowledge that it's all be one giant lie.

That being said, I've realized that when it comes to adults, they're either clued in  or their not and usually the ones not clued in are also not very interested in breaking through the illusion. Thus, I focus on the students, pushing myself to work within the system, yet not be dictated to by it. Hence, when it comes to global citizenship material, I either use material that I choose and/or write myself, or I just don't bother with it. For example, here's an article that I recently wrote called Real democracy vs the Illusion of democracy. If you browse through it, you'll see that I spell out what democracy really is and why we really just do not have democracy as a form of self determination anywhere in the world.

In terms of waking people up, it really is an uphill battle. However, what better place to be than where we are (inside the education system) than to wake students up? Lol, these really are the days of revelations. Everything, including religion, government, the money system, etc., is being revealed to have been part of the control grid or matrix of control. In many a blog posts, I have often said of humanity, that as we had accepted and allowed the monster of globalism (which really needs to be redefined) to devour other countries, so too would that monster eventually come home to devour the homeland, and that's exactly what I see happening all over the world - the monsters that we accepted and allowed to feed in other lands is now coming home where there's still some food to feed on.

It's like a wave of consequence that's been building up for a long, long time (and consequence does seem to come in waves) and this particular one will soon reach its crest and come crashing down all around. Taiwan however, may be somewhat isolated as it is an island, but as everything is connected, it won't escape it entirely.

BTW, I too have just stopped participating on FB and only use it with classes as a means to get students thinking that, as their posts will be public, they might want to   do a good job for their parents and friends to see.

The lines are being drawn between the left/liberals/globalists and right/conservatives/nationalists and I'm not sure that we're going to be able to avoid a big war or some other kind of catastrophe this time around. Perhaps such a crisis will serve to jolt people awake, literally leaving people with no other options but  to wake up and start taking responsibility by standing up and deciding upon a new direction for humanity.

It's happening, more and more people are awakening and becoming receptive to information that was once blocked from the processing centers of their mind consciousness systems. Thus, the opportunity for us as instructors is to provide that information to them and this is where we're actually able to do something worth doing inside the education system.

I used to think that, as foreigners in Asia, we were of a lower status because no one seemed to care what we said or did in the classroom as long as students enjoyed themselves. Now though, I see this point (of being seen but not really listened to by the powers that be) more as an opportunity to bypass the brainwashing, indoctrinating rhetoric handed down for us to teach and instead, actually teach material that students might benefit from. This as I see it is the opportunity for us: not to push too hard for systemic changes to the education system itself, but to actually educate the students within and as the education system itself, herein changing the system from within by supporting the components (people/students) of the system to change themselves. It's a challenge, but we’re up for it.
